It is the custom in many Jesuit communities for a single man to write regularly the historia domus. This is essentially a diary of the daily events that take place in the community. Throughout the year, the European tertians will endeavour to write their own history… Building on the life of the house from past years.
We have a primary stenographer who will detail – sometimes very briefly – the events of the day. This will give you a sense of how we live day after day; week after week.
