The graphic used on the title is from an edition of a catechism of Peter Canisius (1521-1597), a Jesuit who wrote extensively to promote understanding of the teaching of the Church. It depicts a sunburst surrounding the letters ‘IHS’ which evoke the name of Jesus. The heart and cross are recurring motifs in the writings of Ignatius of Loyola who wanted Tertianship to be ‘a school of the heart’ in the Society of Jesus.
Images are taken by current or previous Tertians unless otherwise noted.
